Assam Congress leader Rockybul Hussain cast his vote in the first phase of Assam Assembly elections on Saturday. Hussain cast his vote at a polling booth in Amoni.

Rockybul Hussain has been fielded as a Congress candidate from the Samaguri constituency.

It is to be mentioned that voting for 47 constituencies going to polls in Phase-I of the Assam Assembly Elections 2021 is underway. Around 25.83 % voter turnout recorded till 11 am on Saturday, informed the Election Commission of India.

In the first phase, Altogether 264 candidates, including 23 women, are in the fray.
