Nagaland to Conduct Re-Polling in Two Booths Tomorrow

The Election commission of India has ordered repolling in two polling stations under the Pungro-Kiphire Assembly constituency of Nagaland on November 7.

Nagaland Chief electoral officer, Abhijit Sinha in a statement informed that the election commission of India, on the basis of the report submitted after taking all material circumstances into account, declared November 3 polling into polling stations number 11 Singrep and number 8 Kipongya ward ‘A’ Kiphire town under the Pungro-Kiphire assembly constituency as void.

In this regard the ECI has announced fresh polls On November 7, from 6 am to 4 pm.The bye-election to Assembly seats–14 Southern Angami-I AC and 60 Pungro-Kiphire AC were held on November 3.
