Bhutan: Entertainment centres in low-risk areas to reopen

On October 10, Bhutanese government announced that entertainment centres will reopen with immediate effect.

“With His Majesty at the frontline, aided by the prayers of religious bodies and the support of every Bhutanese in the country and beyond, we have succeeded in keeping our communities dear of COVID-19 for almost two months now,” the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said in a press statement on Sunday.

Despite the fact that many countries are reporting the highest number of cases since the outbreak began, this is the case. The government, however, is ensuring a cautious reopening of the activities in accordance with the increased surveillance in the communities and the country’s epidemiological status of COVID-19.
