Kuwait’s ruling Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Sabah died at the age of 91 on Tuesday.

The country has been mourning the demise of the leader regarded by many Gulf Arabs as a savvy diplomatic operator and a humanitarian champion.
