The results of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive (Mains) Examinations (APPSCCE) are expected to be announced in August this year, according to Secretary Jayanta Kumar Ray of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).

Although no specific date has been given, the commission’s secretary stated on Monday that the panel was striving to announce the results as soon as possible, and that the delay was due to the Covid epidemic.

Around 26,000 candidates had appeared for the prelims examinations held on 1 November, 2020, for 111 vacancies in various departments.

The results of the prelims were announced on 9 November, 2020, and about 1,200 candidates appeared for the APPSCCE mains held between 6 and 14 February.
