Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu congratulated Tirath Singh Rawat on being sworn in as the new CM of Uttarakhand, replacing Trivendra Singh Rawat.
Taking to Twitter, Khandu wrote: “Congratulations to @TIRATHSRAWAT Ji on taking oath as Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister. I am confident Rawat Ji will work towards fulfilling the aspirations and hopes of people of Uttarakhand and work dedicatedly to take the state ahead on path to progress and development.”

The Lok Sabha MP from Garhwal took oath as the new Chief Minister of Uttarakhand this afternoon – a day after his predecessor Trivendra Singh Rawat resigned from the post. Governor Baby Rani Maurya administered the oath of office to Tirath Singh Rawat at the Raj Bhavan in Dehradun.
