Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh Chief minister Pema Khandu on Monday refutes all allegations made against him as baseless and false. He denied the allegations levelled against its government and condemned these movements as politically motivated.

It is to be mentioned that the members of the Arunachal Against Corruption (AAC) launched a 2200km foot march from Itanagar to capital New Delhi demanding CBI enquiry in corruption charges against Arunachal Government.

The organisation has also been staging a sit-in protest at Tennis Court Itanagar for the last 28 days.

AAC President Tarh Tahar says that the government has shown a lackadaisical attitude towards their charter of demands.

“The organisation today commences its foot march to Delhi. If any untoward incident happens during the march to our members then the state government will be responsible,” he said.

It is to be mentioned that AAC is demanding CBI inquiry against Chief Minister Pema Khandu for alleged corruption under Sampoorna Grameen Rozgar Yojana (SGRY), Power Scam under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana, Fund Mismanagement in Panchayati Raj System, Dept of Mining & Mineral Scam, Gross Misuse of CAMPA Fund among others.
