Arunachal: DC Provides Relief to Fire Victims of Rasam Village

In an yet another fire incident, one OBT house belonging to Tapen Panor was completely burnt down in East Siang district’s Rasam village in Pasighat on Friday morning. However, no loss of life was reported.

Deputy Commissioner In-charge Tatdo Borang along with DDMO in charge N Tayeng and DLEO Tore Ete rushed to the spot and sought a detailed report on the incident.

While taking stock of the situation, DC Borang expressed shock and dismay at the frequent fire accidents at Pasighat and opined that many such incidents could have been prevented with a little sense of responsibility.

He urged everyone to maintain proper electrification and other fire safety measures at home.

DC provided Rs 3,800 on behalf of the district administration as immediate relief to the victim as per norms.
