Papum Pare DC Sachin Rana suggested inviting students, youths and other stakeholders to attend the District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meetings.

He stated that the students and youths can be inspired by the activities and works done by the officers and will be motivated to perform well in their lives.

DC Rana said this while chairing the first DLMC meeting to review the status of all the ongoing and recently completed projects under various state and centrally sponsored schemes on Friday.

“There should be no compromise on the quality of work of the social infrastructures like healthcare, education and transportations,” DC Sachin Rana said.

Informing that the DLMC meetings will be henceforth conducted on the 15th of every month, he exhorted the HoDs to abreast themselves with the progress report of all the projects while endorsing a copy to the DC by 12th of every month.

He also emphasised on inclusion of ‘comparative statements’ of the progress made in the previous and the current meetings depicting the progress achieved.

Also sharing his vision for a ‘Prosperous Papum Pare’ he exhorted all the HoDs to work diligently and ensure quick, transparent and quality delivery of services to the public.

He also informed about the SVAMITVA (Survey of villages and mapping with improvised technology in village areas) scheme, which aims to provide rural people with the right to document their residential properties so that they can use their property for economic purposes, he urged the administrative officers and the land department to start the work on a mission mode.

The HoDs of the executive departments presented PowerPoint presentations on the status of all ongoing and recently completed projects under various centrally sponsored schemes and state plans. (DIPRO)
