Arunachal: Education Commissioner Inspect Schools in Lower Subansiri

Arunachal Pradesh Education Commissioner Padmini Singla on Friday, accompanied by Lower Subansiri DDSE Tabia Chobin, officers, officials and other concerned functionaries inspected two government educational institutions in the district to take stock of infrastructure facilities available.

Commissioner Singla inspected Government Higher Secondary School Hija, Government UPS LBS and ICDS office at Parie Amie, Hapoli and interacted with their functionaries.  

She urged the concerned authorities to work with zeal and dedication and put in every effort for imparting quality education to the students during the Covid-19 time.

She further directed all the teaching fraternities for binding the students together through online classes which is the only way left for them to continue their studies and underlined the importance of teachers and students in building academic excellence and producing talents.

Later, the commissioner interacted with teaching staff of both the schools and inquired about the problems faced by teachers and students during online classes.

The interaction programme was also attended by the heads of institutions along with BEOs of Ziro-I and District Programme Coordinator ISSE Nangram Kayum, Habung Tadii and Pill Tayam.

The teachers and Headmaster in-charge Padi Payeng, Principal Joram Budh of both the institutions discussed various issues with the commissioner.

The DDSE explained the problems of the schools and emphasised on the need for creating resources through adopting give back mission mode from alumni without depending on the government.
