Arunachal: IGP Reviews Security Preparedness Ensuing PRI Elections

Arunachal Pradesh, IGP (law & order) Chukhu Apa, chaired a  meeting reviewing the security arrangement for ensuing PRI elections with SPs Harsh Indora (Lower Subansisiri), Rahul Gupta (Kamle) and Dusu Kaling (Kra-Daadi, DySPs Torum Makcha (Kra-Daadi), Kuru Tatung (Kurung Kumey) and Tasi Darang (Lower Subansiri). 

During the meeting they discussed the number of polling stations and their sensitivity, ground communication and manpower requirements for Lower Subansiri, Kurung Kumey, Kra Dadi and Kamle districts. Apa, also directed them to be strict without compromising. Later, the IGP conducted a Sampark Sabha with all the police personnel of Lower Subansiri district and patiently heard the grievances placed by many personnel and assured to look into their grievances.

The IGP, further took stock of the security preparedness, inspected the under construction police buildings and instructed the contractors not to compromise with the quality and durability of the building.
