Arunachal: IMC launches ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign

The Itanagar Municipal Corporation (IMC) on Wednesday launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign’ under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to mark the 75th year of India’s independence.

The campaign was launched by IMC Mayor Tame Phassang in the presence of IMC commissioner Likha Tejji and corporators at the IMC office.

Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Tame Phassang said the idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism and to remember the sacrifices made for India’s independence.

He also informed that the National flag will be available in the IMC office and to the ward corporators.

‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence.

The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.
