A micro solar plant was installed at Ranghill village, one of the remotest villages in Changlang district through the District Mineral Fund under the initiative of the Changlang deputy commissioner.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC Dr Devansh Yadav said, “it will be a hybrid model in which solar and conventional power will be used simultaneously. Such projects for border area villages, which have erratic power supply due to dense forests, can serve as a replicable model.”
Ranghill is one of the remotest village alongside Indo-Myanmar border.
It has power supply but often erratic due to heavy forests…
Under DMF, we initiated micro-Solar unit, a hybrid system working alongside conventional power!!
Hoping for a replicable model🤞 pic.twitter.com/h6C7X6ibYj
