Arunachal: Papum Pare MLA inaugurates Street Library

In order to build a reading habit among students and accelerate the public library movement in the district, a street library was inaugurated by Doimukh MLA Tana Hali Tara near T cube Futsal at Doimukh in the presence of Papum Pare DC Sachin Rana.

Lauding the efforts of the district administration and the Ngurang Learning Institute, MLA Hali said that such initiatives will encourage our youths to read more as the books in the street libraries will be made available for free.

“The district administration in collaboration with Ngurang Learning Institute will set up 26 street libraries across Papum Pare,” informed DC Rana while speaking on the occasion.

He requested the readers to handle the books with care and also called upon the people to volunteer and donate books.

Ngurang Meena, chairman of Ngurang Learning Institute, reigning Miss Arunachal Nabam Yate, HoDs and administrative officers were present on the occasion.
