Deputy Commissioner Higio Tala on Wednesday inaugurated the 24-seater public transport facility run by Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Services (APSTS) at Palin as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to mark the 75th year of India’s independence.

With this the remote Tali circle in Kra Daadi district is now connected with a bus service. The bus will originate from Tali and proceed towards Itanagar.

Tali MLA Jikke Tako along with ZPMs, Panchayat leaders and the public boarded the bus as the first passengers.

While congratulating the public, MLA Tako has assured to provide uninterrupted bus service on a regular basis after conducting the first trial.

Kra Daadi SP Dusu Kaling, Palin ADC Higio Yame and Tali CO Jina Bagang were present on the occasion.

Till date, Tali remains the only assembly constituency which does not have a proper road connection.
