Arunachal Pradesh’s Changlang District wins gold in Digital India Awards 2020 by Government of India for various digital initiatives taken by the district. Changlang won gold in the district category.
Owing to Covid – 19 protocols in place, the award was given digitally by the President of India. Speaking on the occasion Changlang Deputy Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav, IAS said, “the tremendous recognition by the President of India in the form of gold must be attributed to the hard work of NIC, Changlang and District Administration which has paid off”.
Dr. Yadav further added, “It’s a matter of immense pride for all of us. Hope we continue to work for digital & accessible governance”. Meanwhile, the United Miao Mission and Miao Singpho Ramma Hpung congratulated the Deputy Commissioner and NIC, Changlang for their hard work and making the people of Changlang district proud with the gold.
