Arunachal Pradesh Chief minister Pema Khandu on Sunday attended the Torgya Festival Organised by Padmashree Rev. Thegtse Rimpochae at Sangye Choeling Gompa, Balemu.
The first ever Torgya was organized by Rev. Rimpoche with a vision to strengthen the culture, tradition & well being of the people of the Balemu area. The religious festival aimed at accumulating merits by annihilating ignorance and violence deep within self.
