Arunachal Pradesh Chief minister Pema Khandu on Thurday took stock of the Jal Jeevan Mission in the state.

He took a review of the Scheme in a meeting with the PHE&WS Department so that the tap water connectivity reaches all households in the state very soon.

The Jal Jeevan Mission is an initiative by the central government under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, that aims to provide safe and adequate drinking water through indidvidual household tap connections to all households.

In the meeting he also took stock of the implementation of Swatch Bharat Mission (Gramin) that aims to reduce behavioural change and healthy sanitation practises.
