In an unfortunate event, the residence of Ha Tagong, Former ZPM of 9th Pipsorang panchayat segment was destroyed in a devastating fire which broke out in Hilltop Colony, Itanagar.

The fire reportedly started at the residence of Ha Tagong at around 8-9 pm. The Fire is suspected to have occurred due to an electric short circuit. The raging fire then spread to the nearby areas, around three shops and a Kutcha kitchen were burned at Hilltop Colony in Itanagar, following which, people hurriedly came over to prevent the flames from spreading.

However, no casualty has been reported.
