IAS Dharmendra takes charge as the new chief secretary (CS) of Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday.
IAS Officer Dharmendra, of AGMUT 1989 batch has replaced former chief secretary Naresh Kumar, who has been appointed as the chief secretary of Delhi.
IAS Dharmendra had previously served as the Chairman of New Delhi Municipal Corporation.
Upon his joining, he convened a meeting with the top officials of the state and took stock of important projects and issues pertaining to the state.
The new chief secretary was accorded a warm welcome by a team of senior officers led by finance, planning & investment principal secretary Dr. Sharat Chauhan.
