Arunachal’s Tawang MLA Tsering Tashi launched and unveiled the much awaited Jawa 42 Special Tawang Edition. The new Jawa 42 Tawang Edition will be limited to just 100 units and will be only for customers of Arunachal Pradesh. The new special edition is inspired by the mythical Lungta or wind horse.

The first bike was delivered to MLA Tawang and second to a Junior Engineer of PHED posted at Mogto. The team of Jawa Motorcycles was headed by Udip Tiwari, Marketing Head, Jawa Motorcycles.

The bike is manufactured based on a legend which tells the story of a beautiful white horse showing the way where the 400 year old Tawang Monastery was to be established. The new special edition is inspired by the mythical Lungta or wind horse. The Lungta is imbued with positive energies and is a vehicle of enlightenment. It transports prayers from earth to heaven with the speed of wind and bestows good fortune on those it blesses.

The program was attended by Commissioner to CM Sonam Chombey(IRS) in-charge DC Tawang Rinchin Leta, ZPC Tawang Leki Gombu, Brigadier NM Bendigiri Commander 190 MTN Brigade, DC West Kameng Karma Leki, Bomge Kamduk SP Tawang, I/C DMO Rinchin Neema, Oken Tayeng MD Abor Country a prominent tour operator, officers of District Administration, Police,  Army Public leaders and general public.
