The ‘Bharat bandh’ called by Farmers and supported by Opposition parties, against the Centre’s new Agriculture laws had a partial to no impact in Arunachal Pradesh.
Although there wasn’t a huge impact in the Itanagar Capital region. However, the administration did adopt all security measures to deal with any kind of untoward incidents and put up Nakabandis at various points.
All business establishments, including road side vendors, government and private offices and financial institutions remained open in Capital Complex while all modes of transport were going on as normal. Police patrolling was also seen since the Panchayat and Municipal election campaigns were going on.
