Braveheart Dilip Kumar Das’s mortal remains reach home

The martyred Assam’s CRPF jawan, Dilip Kumar Das’s mortal remains reached home in Sarupeta on Tuesday. Das was killed during the recent Naxal attack in Chhattisgarh. The dead body of the brave heart from Assam arrived at the LGBI Airport in Guwahati in the morning on Tuesday. 

His mortal remains were taken to 175 CRPF camp located at Dharapur where the brave jawan was paid last tribute by top-ranking CRPF and Assam Police officials. After that, Das’s mortal remains were taken to his hometown Sarupeta in Bhabanipur under Bajali district. 

The braveheart will be cremated with state honours in his home Bharegaon. Dilip Kumar Das joined the CRPF in 2001.  He left behind his wife and two daughters.

Apart from Dilip Kumar Das, another CRPF jawan from Assam, Bablu Rabha from Dudhnoi in Goalpara district was martyred during a fierce gun-battle with Naxal at Bijapur in Chhattisgarh on Saturday.
