The Common Entrance Exam (CEE) for Army Recruitment which was scheduled for April 25 at Rangapahar Military Station has been postponed due to the surge in COVID-19 cases across the country.

Defence PRO Colonel Sumit Kumar Sharma informed that the fresh date for the examination will be announced later. Due to the postponement of the exam, new admit cards will also be issued to the candidates as and when the date for the CEE is finalised.

The army recruitment rally was conducted at Bhagat Stadium, Dimapur, from March 10-17, 2021. The rally was primarily for the youth of Nagaland and for select trades for the youth of other North-Eastern states. About 10,500 candidates had registered, and about 8,000 attended the rally.
