All Assam Students’ Union(AASU) to hold anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protest across Assam on March 24 ahead of the Assam Legislative Assembly Elections 2021

In Guwahati, the protest will be held at Dighalipukhri.

Previously, a state-wide motorcycle rally was held by AASU from Dhemaji on March 20, in protest against the CAA.

Sankar Jyoti Baruah, General Secretary of AASU said, “We will be taking out state-wide bike rallies and go to every village in Assam – no matter how distant – to create awareness about CAA and its ramifications. We are also appealing to everyone to choose whom they vote for very carefully”.
