Assam: Asom Gana Parishad reach out to the people at the grassroot level

The Assam Gana Parishad (AGP,) reach out to the people at the grass-root level, the party made out of six-year-long Assam Agitation in the early 1980s reinventing itself to connect to the mass.
The party showed unity again in a form of a motorbike rally baptized ‘jatiya oikya samaroh’ in Bokakhat on December 6, and on December 8 held it’s the first meeting of the freshly assembled central committee here.

The president of the committee Atul Bora said a well-worn discussion on the regional party’s hereafter course of action was held at the meeting.

Further, he added “I have urged every level of the organization, right from the Pran Parishads to Bidhan and Zila Parishads to intensify public outreach,”

The state agricultural Minister said, “The induction of members through the mobile app will start from December 15 while the Pran Parishad and the Bidhan Parishad meetings will be held on December 18 and December 23 respectively.”

Bora who misleading at the party headquarter at Ambari, and said that “From January 1st to 15th of next year, every Panchayat Parishad shall reach out to a minimum of 500 households,”
