Assam Assembly Election 2021: BJP to form the next Government

The BJP-led alliance won a total of 75 seats, the Congress-led Grand Alliance won 50 seats and Akhil Gogoi-led Raijor Dal won 1 seat out of the total 126 seats in the Assam Assembly elections 2021.

The Bharatiya Janata Party won 60 seats, Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) won 9 seats and United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) won 6 seats.

The Congress won 29 seats while its Grand Alliance partners, All India United democratic Front (AIUDF) won 16 seats, Bodoland People’s Party (BPF) won 4 seats and Communist Party of India (Marxist) won 1 seat.
