Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took to his twitter and paid his humble tribute to Assam’s first Chief Minister Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi on his 131st birth anniversary.

“My humble tribute to Assam’s 1st Chief Minister Bharat Ratna Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi on his 131st birth anniversary.

His contributions towards preserving the culture, identity and spirit of Assam, and ensuring her unity, are legendary, and shall be cherished forever”, Sarma tweeted.
