In Lokkhojan at Golaghat district, former Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal’s convoy faced a road accident, on Saturday evening.

Sonowal was safe from any injuries, but two security persons sustained minor injuries.

A dumper bearing registration number AS05 C6308 hit the convoy’s Mahindra Bolero (AS3 8766) from opposite direction.

Sarbananda Sonowal was heading towards Dibrugarh.
