Assam : Forces rescue two ONGC employees; looking for third

A joint operation was conducted by the Indian Army and Assam Rifles on Friday night from Nagaland’s Mon district and rescued two ONGC employees.

A source from Assam Rifles stated, “After getting specific information about the abducted ONGC employees. We have launched a joint operation and rescued two of them, and one AK 47 has also been recovered”.

Alakesh Saikia and Mohini Mohan are the rescued employees.

To locate the third ONGC employee a counter-insurgency operation has been started against the rebel groups in Assam-Nagaland borders by security forces.
