The next Chief Minister of Assam will be Himanta Biswa Sarma, however, a formal announcement is yet to be made at the BJP legislature party meeting.

As per reports, Himanta Biswa Sarma reached the official residence of Chief Minister Sarbnanada Sonowal where he met the BJP Assam in Charge Vaijyanta Panda.

Both Sarbananda Sonowal and Himanta Biswa Sharma moved to the BJP LP meeting, after that.

There are possibilities that the swearing-in ceremony will be held tomorrow morning at Sankardev Kalakshetra.
