On March 20, an election rally will be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Assam’s Tinsukia district.

47 seats of 126 assembly seats are going to polls in the first phase on March 27 that are mostly from Upper Assam.

In March 2016, PM Modi at the same venue told, “You gave 60 years to Congress expecting good things, give me 5 years to uplift the state”.

PM Modi is scheduled to address the gathering at around 2.30 pm. BJP and its alliance partner candidates from all assembly seats in Tinsukia and Dibrugarh districts will accompany Modi.
