Another case of the COVID-19 Omicron variation has been identified in Assam, with the new case being reported from Hojai. Ahmed Hussain has been identified as the new case, according to the health department.
The individual had recently returned from Saudi Arabia. He is currently being monitored by the health department. It is worth noting that the first Omicron case in Assam was discovered in Kamrup Metro’s Sonapur.
According to reports, a 13-year-old child has been infected with the COVID-19 Omicron strain. He resides in Sonapur with his parents in a rented property. The family is known to have spent a lengthy time in Mumbai and had recently returned.
They had gone to Shillong, and after being tested, the boy was found to be positive for the Omicron variety. When it was discovered that he had tested positive, the health department and police officers went to their home in Sonapur’s Moirakusi to transport him to a medical facility.
They were living in a leased property in Moirakusi, Sonapur, after the virus was discovered. The health department and police, however, discovered the residence to be empty, and the patient had fled. Sonapur Police are still looking for the youngster and his parents.
