A dry run of vaccination has been planned by the Centre in four states including Assam, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat, before rolling out COVID-19 vaccination drive to the masses.

The dry run of vaccination for Covid19 is for two days starting from December 28 in all the four states.
The Government plans to start the vaccination drive from January 2021.

The dry run has been planned to evaluate the state of readiness of the process placed for the COVID19 vaccination drive.

The dry run process will include necessary data entry in Co-WIN, an online platform for monitoring of vaccine delivery, testing receipt and allocation, deployment of team members, mock drill of session sites with test beneficiaries, said the Union Health Ministry.
