Raijor Dal to contest 18 constituencies in upcoming Assam Assembly polls

In the upcoming Assam Assembly elections, Raijor Dal announced that they will contest in 18 constituencies, said Chief convenor of Raijor Dal, Bhasco de Saikia.

Saikia said, “We do not want the anti-BJP votes to be divided. Therefore, we decided to contest where we can surely win. We want an anti-BJP government and an anti-CAA government in Dispur, which is why we are leaving other seats out of 86 in two phases”.

The regional political party Raijor Dal, was launched on 2nd October, 2020 in Assam after the anti-CAA stir in the state.

Peasant leader Akhil Gogoi is the President of the party who is currently in Jail will probably contest from the Sivasagar seat.
