Rain expected in Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh on Friday

On Thursday and Friday, the Western Himalayan Region is likely to see isolated rains due to a Western Disturbance. According to The Weather Channel, another fresh Western Disturbance and its accompanying cyclonic circulation will bring widespread snow/rain and thunderstorms to the Western Himalayan Region.

From Saturday to Monday, a cyclonic circulation will be present around Bangladesh, bringing isolated to scattered showers or snowfall to the Northeast and adjoining West Bengal and Bihar.

During this time, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim are likely to see widespread snow or rain.

Meanwhile, cold air is expected to sweep across Northwest India on Saturday, spreading to Northeast India by Sunday.

On Friday, rain/snow and thunderstorms are expected across Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.

Showers and thunderstorms are also expected in Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Over Sikkim, isolated rain/snow and thunderstorms are possible.
