Schools To Reopen only if Covid-19 situation Improves, says Assam Education Minister

According to the most recent developments in Assam’s education sector, the state administration plans to reopen schools on September 1st. Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu announced this on Friday, but he also stated that it would only be effective if the state’s COVID-19 condition improved.

Education Minister Ranoj Pegu went on to say that if the decision to reopen schools is approved under the COVID-19 SOP, it will only affect classes IX to XII.

“Although the COVID-19 situation in Assam has not improved as predicted, we discussed it with Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Health Minister Keshav Mahanta. Classes may be restarted only if the situation improves, according to the chief minister and health minister “Ranoj Pegu said.

“Most of the parents, kids, and instructors are happy with the scores they have earned,” the education minister said of the HSLC test results.

Pegu went on to say again, “Students who are unsatisfied with their grades should contact the authorities between the 5th and the 12th of August. Re-Examination will be held for them.”
