For the upcoming HSLC/AHM exams 2021, fresh guidelines have been issued by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) due to hike in Covid-19 cases in the state.
Additional important points will be there to tackle any situation from COVID pandemics during the HSLC/AHM Examination, 2021, informed SEBA secretary Suranjana Senapati in a letter to the Inspectors of Schools (IS).
Exam centres will need to maintain distance according to the guidelines. Covid protocols need to be followed inside the examination centres as asked by the SEBA. Separate arrangement will be made for the seating of affected Covid-19 candidates by SEBA. The Board shared a seating plan in “X” pattern.
The venue will be arranged in two ways to accommodate exceeding candidates –
1) Any schools within the range of 1km from the centre school,
2) If not available, temporary tentage can be constructed in such a way that it can resist the changed weather conditions.
The school inspectors have been directed by SEBA to arrange seating for the COVID-affected candidate in isolation outside the centre campus consulting with the local administration and the health department.
The HSLC exam announcement will be made around May 4-5 by the new government.
