Three young people were discovered dead and one in critical condition at a building site in Baihata Chariali, Kamrup Rural District. The deceased were identified as Babul Hussain, Muzaffar Hussain, and Ratul Ali, and the injured as Sofikul Ali.

They were all Rangia natives who worked as contractual daily wagers at an irrigation department construction site, according to sources.

Locals alerted authorities to the issue, and when they arrived, they discovered three persons had already died, while the fourth was fighting for his life in the hospital, according to sources. Meanwhile, the cause of death is unknown, and post-mortem reports are anticipated. As per sources, the cause of death cannot be ascertained yet and post mortem reports are being awaited.

Locals remarked the incident appeared to be very mysterious because the four people who arrived at the scene around 20 days ago showed no evidence of injuries, sources said. Furthermore, the investigation is underway.
