In the presence of District Election Officer, Imphal West, Thokchom Kirankumar, the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Manipur, Rajesh Agrawal, formally handed over the EPIC card to Manipur Governor La Ganesan at the Raj Bhavan in Imphal on Saturday.

In the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly Election, the Governor has registered to vote in the Sagolband Assembly Constituency and will vote at polling station 11/34 Old Lambulane (B).

He was previously registered in Chennai South’s 24-Thiyagaraya Nagar Assembly Constituency.

The Governor was also briefed by the CEO on the status of preparations for the State Assembly General Election scheduled for February 27 and March 3, 2022.
