Due to increase in COVID cases an order was issued by the the Chief Secretary of Manipur, Rajesh Kumar, imposing night curfew from 8:00 pm till 4:00 am daily.

The night curfew will exempt services of all goods-carrier vehicles which includes medical oxygen as well; all essential services like pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, power supply, public health engineering, municipal offices engaged in cleaning, fire services, medical oxygen manufacturing plants, veterinary services and all government officials, who have been assigned specific Covid-19 management duties, as well as other emergencies services.
