The Border trade which was stopped due to Covid-19 pandemic between India and Myanmar in the Sagaing region will restart from Wednesday.
Due to pandemic the international gate at the border was closed in March.
Adhering to Covid-19 protocols the decision to resume the trade was taken by the authorities.
An official said, “Border trade will resume on January 6, but there will be some changes as the virus has also spread in India. We need to discuss how to prevent infection while carrying on with the trade”.
The vehicles pass through Tamu crossing and the Reed crossing in Chin state.
