The load-shedding crisis is not within the control of the government, said Meghalaya Power Minister James Sangma. He said that the ministry is working to solve the problem.

Sangma said, “We are trying our level best to ensure that we don’t have any more load shedding in the future, but as I said load shedding is happening because of many reasons and these reasons is something that we don’t have control over.”

He hoped that there would be no load shedding in the coming months and sufficient rainfall.
