The weekend lockdown in South West Garo Hills district did not go well.

At Ampati and Betasing towns shoppers crowded the markets and traders did brisk business during the morning hours.

Police was called later to implement the lockdown as they requested the people to return to their respective houses as per government orders to curb the spread of the Covid infections in the region.
