The Sikhs of Shillong have set up oxygen langar for the people. The community has prepared a 5-beded oxygen langar in The Sikh Centre, near Raj Bhawan at Shillong which is open for any person with respiratory problems.

At present the occupancy is 5 and could be increased to 10 or 15 as per oxygen availability, informed Dr Kamaljeet. Till now, Rs 2.5 lakhs have been spent by the community on setting up the oxygen langar.

“If people want to contribute to this cause, they are most welcome,” said Dr Kamaljeet.
