A ‘Lockdown’ has been announced in the Ri-Bhoi district from May 1 to May 10 by the District administration on Thursday.

Deputy Commissioner R. M Kurbah, stated that due to increasing positive cases in the district the district administration has taken this decision.

“Ri-Bhoi district stands at 160 number of COVID-19 positive cases till date with 4 deaths which is a grave concern,” Kurbah said.
