Six units of oxygen generator will be installed at the Shillong Civil Hospital by the Meghalaya Government.

The public has been asked not to panic as oxygen is still available in the state.

By next week, 6 oxygen generator units will be installed and will become operational in Shillong Civil Hospital which will reduce the need for cylinders, and the exceeding availability will be shared across the state, informed Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong.

The Centre had decided to set up 13 oxygen generation plants in five North-eastern states.
