Meghalaya will witness a two-week lockdown from coming week.

In a meeting held by the state cabinet today the exact lockdown date was decide.

Official sources informed that the lockdown became necessary due to increase in COVID cases after people in large-scale returned from other parts of the country.

According to sources the lockdown would strengthen the entry points to Meghalaya.
