The Lunglei Battalion of Assam Rifles has recovered a point 22 pistol, 156 bottles of Indian made foreign liquor from Electric Veng in Lawngtlai district in Mizoram.

Assam Rifles personnel in collaboration with the Mizoram police conducted an operation in the Electric Veng area, during which they recovered the arms. The team had swung into action after receiving confirmed information about the arms and illegal liquor.

An individual was also arrested in connection to possessing the illegal arm and large bottles of foreign made liquor.
