Mizo woman takes responsibility of 93-year-old COVID positive lady

In Mizoram, a young lady volunteered herself to take care of a 93-year-old COVID positive woman.

According to Instagram page mizoraminsta, “Ms CT Ramnunmawii (@ct_parte) , a resident of Champhai Ruantlang tested positive for Covid-19 on her way home from Delhi. After getting treatment at BSUP Complex, (Government allotted covid care centre) she has recovered and was about to leave the centre. As she was packing up she heard of the news that a 93 year old lady had been admitted without having any caretaker as her families were also under quarantine. Without any hesitation, Ms CT insisted on taking care of her. After the authorities approved her request, she extended her stay at the covid care centre to take care of the 93 year old patient.
